I may have gone to far....

Sawyers hair was getting out of control so we went to get it cut yesterday. I may have gone to far. I hope the curls come back! :( He's still cuter than ever.

Spring Break

I know it's a little late but my internet was acting up yesterday and I couldn't get on. We headed down to sunny Arizona this year while the kids were on spring break. We might have to do it every year. Because it was warm and sunny when it was snowing here. Thanks to Timmie and Jeff and their girls for letting us invade their space. And a BIG thanks to Jeff for cooking, you are quite the chef! Or biggest purpose for going down there was to help out Harley after her surgery to remove a tumor that was in her back.

The surgery went well and she is up and about. We found out yesterday that she will be fitted for a back brace and will need radiation to get the rest of the tumor. They say that she won't be to sick and shouldn't lose her hair which is really good news because it is long and beautiful. Unfortunately I forgot my camera so these pics are from my phone.
The boys had a ton of fun swimming in their pool. We brought a swimsuit for Sawyer but as you can see it was the wrong size and we had to go buy a new one for him. I also got him a swim shirt because like his dad he is a fair red-head and can burn easily.

These are the before pics. See the droopy shorts in the second pic.

Here are the after. I love these ones because he is saying cheese and I love his smile when he does that.

April Fools Day

I picked up the boys from school yesterday and Conner had a brown paper bag. He was so excited and said I couldn't see what was inside of it until we got home. Conner and Bubba raced inside while I was getting Sawyer out of the truck. I got inside and found this on the floor, but Conner was a little to excited and hurried and picked it up before I could really see it. It looks pretty realistic. He decided he wanted to try it out on his dad when he got home so we put it on my bed. John got home and he just so happen to be on the phone with Timmie so it was even better, he was distracted. John kept pacing back and forth talking to Timmie but never going into our bedroom. Meanwhile Conner is being a spaz so I'm trying to calm him down so he wouldn't give the surprise away. Finally John goes into our room and notices it on our bed and gets a really puzzled almost angry look on his face and then we yell "April Fools!" it was pretty good, he thought it was real. Conner made it at school out of glue and brown paint. The marshmallows are real.
