Thanksgiving/Christmas

Speaking of how time flies....It's already the end of January and I haven't posted anything about Thanksgiving or Christmas. I do have kind of an excuse though. Our computer crashed and I "tried" to fix it and made it worse by putting the settings back to default settings which erased everything off of our computer. Fun times. Anyway thanks to my awesome brother-in-law Marty we now have it back. So I have some catching up to do.

Thanksgiving was nice. John and Bubba and Conner got up and went to the church to play flag football. We went over to John's parents house (late sorry), which made us forget the shrimp salad that we were supposed to make. (I think John's dad still hasn't forgiven us for that, again sorry). Still the dinner was yummy as always. We then went over to Scott and Shar's and played some card games. Fun night.

Christmas eve we stayed at John's parents' house as we always do. Had chile verde for dinner and watched TV waiting for the kids to go to bed so Santa could come. He came and brought what the kids wanted. Well almost. Conner kept stating that he was getting an Ipad mini. I kept telling him Santa has a budget. So he was a little disappointed. We then went to see John's grandma and cousins. We visited for a little bit then went home to rest. We then went and had dinner at John's parents house. Another delicious meal and yes this time there was shrimp salad. (We still didn't make it so we still owe his dad a shrimp salad). All in all the Holidays flew by but were really enjoyable.
