Here are some pics of my new soccer cleats. John always says it's not how you play it's how you look. And of course I had to get these one's, they are purple.

Stepping out of your comfort zone
These last few weeks have been a little crazy around here. I have been presented with some opportunities to step out of my comfort zone. Starting off with my new calling as Secretary in the Relief Society Presidency. This is kinda scary for me due to that fact that my only callings in the church have been in the nursery. Which I absolutely loved! But now I have to deal with adults that can actually talk back to me. Yikes! I will even have to give a lesson to the sisters on a Sunday. Double yikes! That is like leaps and bounds out of my comfort zone. Another step I have taken out of my comfort zone is playing coed indoor soccer with John. I have played outdoor soccer before in high school but that was like 15 years ago. I have never played indoor before. John has been playing for awhile now and I have enjoyed going and watching him. And he is GOOD. So I was nervous because EVERYONE knows him down there and knows how good he is. I just didn't want to be an embarrassment to him. Our first game I was so nervous and I didn't feel like I played very good. Our second game I felt a little more relaxed and enjoyed the game more. Hopefully I can improve with each passing game. I am grateful for these new opportunities to step out of my comfort zone and to grow I just hope I will be able to succeed at both. Oh and by the way John is also stepping out of his comfort zone..... He has been called as the 2nd counselor in the Sunday School Presidency. I know he will be awesome!

Shan, I had no idea you were playing soccer again. I also didn't know about John's calling. That's awesome on both counts!
