It finally happened...

As crazy and outgoing as our boys are we have never taken them to the ER for stitches or broken bones, not to say we probably should have sometimes for stitches, but last night it finally happened. John has been earning extra money mowing lawns and has saved up enough, plus birthday money, to buy a rip-stick. It is a 2 wheeled skate board. Well he bought it Monday and yesterday he fell and got some good scrapes and bruises. He came home and showed me and got some bandages and went back out. Well later that night when dad got home he was showing him the same scrapes that I had seen. He then turned his hand over and his pinkie was hugely swollen. I felt bad because it wasn't like that before and he hadn't complained about that. Anyway John took him to the after hours doctor and they took an x-ray and it is fractured. So for 4 weeks he has to wear this brace and can't do anything active. You want to take any bets on how long that will last? Or how long I will last?
