Mothers Day
Mothers Day was a great beautiful day! John and Bubba made me breakfast in bed. We went the day before and bought flowers and some tomato and watermelon plants to plant outside. We went to church and I got a beautiful book of scripture pictures from the ward. Now hopefully we can get better at family home evening. John's family then came over and we had a nice dinner. What a great day! At the same time a little bitter sweet. I miss my own mom dearly. She passed away from cancer 8 years ago. She was a great person, but I know she is in a better place and watching over us.

I'm glad you had a good mothers day. Mine was okay. For me, it was the hardest mothers day since mom died for some reason.
Oh I didn't know your mom passed away of cancer, mine did also. It's been 5 years for me. It's so hard to have our mama's gone isn't it? I don't think it will ever get easier, I still think of her everyday.
